The "Mist" button selects between continuous evaporation, 15sec intervals of evaporation and standby, 60 minutes of operation or off. There are lights under the buttons that indicate the selected mode based on their colour. With the “Light” button you can select a desired colour or leave the colour to change smoothly. The diffuser shuts down automatically when the water level in the container is too low.
